Events can be energizing, inspiring, & fun moments for staff, volunteers, & attendees alike.
Get The Church Event Planning Toolkit for successful, not stressful, events.
Reusable, repeatable processes make each event easier to plan.
When you have a standard method for planning events, it reduces guesswork & wasted effort.

Book Description (long version):

Christmas specials, marriage retreats, community outreaches, ladies’ brunches, and more…most churches host several special events each year. Whether you expect 50 people or 5,000, planning an event requires a different process than planning Sunday services.

Too often, church staff and volunteers face last-minute changes, constant meetings, unclear expectations, and late nights the week before the event.

If that sounds familiar, this toolkit is for you.

Based on her experience helping churches and as a professional project manager, Deborah Ike shares her approach to making the planning process simple regardless of the size or type of event.

Whatever event you’re planning next, this toolkit will help you create a successful and much less stressful experience for everyone involved.
Included with the toolkit are several downloadable templates including the following:
-Event Planning Questionnaire
-Event Planning High-level Timeline
-Event Planning Team Member Job Descriptions
-Event Volunteer Job Descriptions
And more…

We just completed an event that had 15,000 people from the community at our church over three nights. Deborah Ike’s latest work, “The Church Event Planning Toolkit” fits the mold for how we planned this enormous event. As we do more events, Deborah’s work will be invaluable.

-David Fletcher, Executive Pastor & Founder of XPastor.org

Deborah brings a valuable mix of both corporate and ministry experience to this event-planning guide. She teaches church leaders how to bring their team around a shared vision and inspire them to immaculate execution. Smart church leaders will apply Deborah’s system for their next church event.

In my book “Plan 4 It”, I outlined the 4 master plans every church must have: Ministry, Financial, Facility, and Sustaining.  As I read “The Church Event Planning Tool Kit”, I was pleased to see that Deborah took a very similar approach to planning a church event.  I love the principles of Project Management and how they apply to this topic. I have worked in the church “space” my entire adult career and have seen great events and…well…leave it at that.  The ones I have witnessed that were successes followed the principles that Deborah outlines. Her expertise in this area in unparalleled.

If your church has events (and that is 99% of you), then this is a must-read for you and your team.
